Xylometazoline nasal spray is a nasal decongestant that can be purchased over the counter in several countries. Currently, it is not available in the Philippines or USA.


What is xylometazoline nasal spray used for?

This product relieves nasal congestion or stuffy nose caused by allergies, colds, and pollution. By removing congestion, it is easier to breathe, hear, and sleep.

How should I take xylometazoline nasal spray?

Read the directions on the packaging for complete information. Check the label and expiration date.

Remove the cap and press down on the applicator until an even spray is released. Using a tissue, blow your nose gently to clear out any excess mucus. Carefully insert the nozzle into one nostril and press down on the applicator and inhale the spray deeply. Repeat this step in the other nostril. Once you are done, wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue, replace the cap, and store it in the proper place.

How do I store xylometazoline nasal spray?

Store this product at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store it in the bathroom or the freezer.
