Ganaton is the brand name of the drug itopride hydrochloride (itopride HCl). Itopride works to relieve symptoms caused by abnormal gastrointestinal function.

What is Ganaton used for?

Ganaton is commonly used for the treatment of non-ulcer dyspepsias (chronic gastritis), such as the sensation of bloating, early satiety, upper abdominal pain or discomfort, anorexia, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting.

How should I take Ganaton?

As an oral tablet, swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush, chew, or dissolve the tablet. It is best to take it on an empty stomach.

How do I store Ganaton?

This product is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store it in the bathroom or the freezer. There may be different brands of itopride that may have different storage needs. It is important to always check the product package for instructions on storage, or ask your pharmacist. For safety, you should keep all medicines away from children and pets.

What is the dose for an adult?

Recommended dose is one tablet (50 mg) three times a day for up to 8 weeks.
