Piascledine (unsaponifiable avocado and soybean oil)

Piascledine is the brand name of a product that contains unsaponifiable avocado oil and unsaponifiable soybean oil.

Studies have shown that these two oils have anti-inflammatory effects, prevent the breakdown of cartilage, and stimulates growth of joint cartilage cells (chondrocytes).

What is Piascledine used for?

According to the manufacturer, this drug eases symptoms of osteoarthritis. Other studies have shown that is also has effects against scleroderma and menopause symptoms.

How should I take Piascledine?

Read the directions on the packaging for complete information. Check the label and expiration date.

For oral dosage forms, swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or dissolving it in liquid. Take it with plenty of water and meals to prevent gastric discomfort.

How do I store Piascledine?

This product is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store it in the bathroom or the freezer.
