Ano ang Kailangan ng mga Teens Para sa Tuloy-tuloy na Pagtangkad?

How do I support my child’s last chance to catch-up on growth?

Mahalaga para sa mga mommy ang pag-support sa kanilang mga anak pagdating sa huli nilang growth spurt dahil ang pagtangkad ay isa sa mga rason kung bakit nagiging self-conscious ang mga teenager. It can affect their self-esteem, how they act towards others, and feel about themselves². Self-conscious teens avoid joining group activities or socializing².

Sa Pilipinas, maraming mga teenager ang nakakaranas ng stunting o pagkaantala sa paglaki dahil sa pagkukulang ng nutrisyon. Umaabot sa 30% ang stunting rate sa bansa, kumpara sa 14% ng iba pang mga bansa na pareho ang socioeconomic status.³
