Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is a strong antioxidant. It could help reduce wrinkles and fine lines and protect your skin from sun damage. It would be wise to keep products with vitamin C stored away from sunlight and air.
There is only so much that products could do for your skin externally. It would always be ideal to make sure you are taking care of your skin from the inside-out to potentially get the best results.

Protect Your Skin from the Sun
The UV rays from the sun can take a toll on your skin, even if you are indoors. It can make your skin prematurely age and lead to wrinkles. Thankfully, this is very preventable.
Overexposure of UV rays can cause tons of damage to your skin. Some examples of skin damage from overexposure to UV rays can include leathery and dry skin, wrinkles, fine lines, discolorations (freckles, age spots, etc), and such.
Try to apply sunscreen generously at least 15 minutes before you leave your home. It would also be wise to reapply sunscreen around every 2 hours, especially if you are exposed to the sun for a long time.
When choosing a sunscreen, try to choose one that is at least 15 SPF. Additionally, try to choose a sunscreen that is “broad spectrum”, which means it protects you from UVA and UVB rays.
