What is Polybact® used for?

Pylobact® contains Clarithromycin, Omeprazole, and Tinidazole as active ingredients. It works by

  • Killing bacteria and reducing the infection
  • Blocking the production of acid in the stomach
  • Inhibiting the protein’s production in bacteria to stop the bacterial growth

Polybact® is commonly used for the treatment of bacterial infections, parasitic infections, blood infections, lungs infections, chest infections, skin infections and other conditions.

How should I take Polybact®?

Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert.

How do I store Polybact®?

Polybact® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Polybact® in the bathroom or the freezer. There may be different brands of Polybact® that may have different storage needs. It is important to always check the product package for instructions on storage, or ask your pharmacist. For safety, you should keep all medicines away from children and pets.

You should not flush Polybact® down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. It is important to properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist for more details about how to safely discard your product.

Precautions & Warnings

What should I know before using Polybact®?

Before using this drug, consult with your doctor if:

  • You have given live vaccines or antiviral drugs.
  • You are in the second and third trimester of pregnancy.
  • You are on blood-thinning drugs such as warfarin.

Also, while using this drug, you should not:

  • Drink alcohol.
  • Drive or operate heavy machinery.

Side Effects

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Polybact®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
