Liza C. Legaspino, LPT, MAEd-ECE, is a licensed professional teacher and an educator for more than a decade. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction at Philippine Normal University (PNU) in Manila where she also finished her Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (cum laude). Prof. Liza is also textbook author of University Press of First Asia – the editorial group of DIWA Learning Systems, Inc. She authored English for Smart Learners for Grade 2 and co-authored MAPEH Works! for Grade 3. Presently, she is working on the upcoming new preschool textbook series of Kindergarten 2 for Language and Science. She received several recognitions during her undergraduate years in PNU, including Leadership and Service Award from PNU and was also awarded as a Storytelling Champion, Academic Awardee, and Distinguished Student Teacher. She previously worked as a preschool teacher and a grade school Language teacher at Manresa School, Parañaque.

At present, she is a part-time professor at PNU and San Beda College Alabang, and a resource speaker in different topics related to Early Childhood Education, parenting, learning theories, creativity, teacher education, and motivation.
