Maalox (Al+ Mg hydroxide, antacid)

Maalox is the brand name of various antacid products. Maalox contains aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide while Maalox Plus contains these ingredients plus simethicone. Antacids work by neutralizing acid from the stomach, which relieves symptoms of heartburn and hyperacidity. Simethicone help to reduce gas in the GI tract, relieving bloating and flatulence.

What should I do in case of an emergency or overdose?

What should I do if I miss a dose?
