High fever at night

Diabetes itself is a risky condition, if not managed well by a doctor. Additional symptoms such as fever and weakness mean that the body might be going through something more complicated than your existing diabetes. Please see a doctor immediately.

High fever at night and weakness, especially with diabetes, could signal an infection or a complication like diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). To control it:

1. See a doctor immediately for proper diagnosis and treatment.
2. Monitor blood sugar levels closely.
3. Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.
4. Take fever reducers like paracetamol or ibuprofen (after consulting your doctor).
5. Rest and allow your body to recover.

It is risky if untreated, as it may lead to serious complications like sepsis or DKA. Seek medical help as soon as possible.
