Hello Doctor Community Guidelines
Say hello to a healthier and happier life!
Your well-being is what matters at Hello Doctor. This is why we have committed to providing you with helpful, accessible, and trustworthy health facts that make sense to you – so you can be empowered to make better choices.
We want to see healthier Filipinos inspired to seek health and wellness knowledge – and we are with you on this health journey together. The Hello Doctor community is dedicated to maintaining an open, supportive, and welcoming environment for its members. Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
This is a safe space for all.
We believe everyone is entitled to seek healthier, happier lives. We will not tolerate any abuse, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination against race, gender identity, religion, or sexual orientation. Our moderators keep a close eye on inappropriate, abusive, and harmful content – violators will be dealt with immediately.
We welcome honesty with kindness.
You are free to express your opinion – but please do so with kindness and respect. Hello Doctor strongly prohibits name-calling, rude behavior, and personal attacks. We are committed to keeping Hello Doctor a safe, fact-based, and judgment-free community.
Be truthful.
Hello Doctor values truth and trust within our community, so our members and readers can seek knowledge with confidence. Please refrain from using duplicate accounts or aliases, and avoid spreading unverified content, spam, and misinformation.
Comments and Posts
Stick to safe and family-friendly content, especially for photos and videos.
All content – from text to photos, videos, and other attachments – must be generally safe for work and family-friendly. Hello Doctor does not tolerate profanity, violence, and other harmful or offensive content. Photos of cuts, wounds, bodily fluids, and other sensitive media must be tagged as “Not Safe for Work” (NSFW) to inform others about its nature.
A good rule of thumb: If a boss, co-worker, or your child came across your post, would it be safe for them to view?
Users who post sexually explicit, offensive, or threatening messages will be immediately removed and banned from the community. If you see a user’s post violating the guidelines, please report it to us here.
Leave the medical advice to the experts.
While you are free to share your own personal experiences about a health condition, please avoid giving advice on how members should treat theirs.
Avoid sharing drug side effects.
Hello Doctor does not allow the posting of side effects from a drug. If you have experienced adverse or unusual reactions to a drug or medication, please consult your local doctor immediately.
Share stories, not links or sales pitches.
Our Hello Doctor members are here to find genuine support and a useful exchange of ideas when it comes to their health. Promotions, advertisements, and other commercial activity unauthorized by the Hello Doctor team are not allowed. Hello Doctor prohibits the posting of external links and mentions of other websites outside of Hello Health.
Please do not use or post content that is not yours.
Our community values truth, trust, and respect. Please refrain from posting images or content that infringe on the intellectual property ownership of others. These include creating accounts using the Hello Doctor logo or the unauthorized usage of photos, logos, symbols, or other trademarks owned by other individuals or organizations. When posting photos in our community, please ensure that you own the rights to the photo or that you have sought express permission from its owner before uploading.
