Medicine Delivery in Philippines: Here’s Where To Order Online

Recently, there have been numerous reports of large numbers of people going out and stocking up on medicine. While medicines are important, leaving the house to line up inside a drugstore can put you at risk of being infected with COVID-19. This makes medicine delivery in Philippines an ideal option, since you can buy all the medicines you need from the comfort of your home.

What medicine delivery services are available? And how do you go about buying medication through these channels? Read on to find out.

Medicine Delivery in the Philippines: Where To Buy Online

If you need to buy medicine, but you’re unable or unwilling to go out, here are some options that are available:

    Generika Drugstore

Generika drugstore provides generic drugs at an affordable price. You can easily purchase a wide variety of medicine through their website or through their apps for Android or iOS.

They deliver nationwide, and offer same-day delivery. The delivery fee costs about PHP90, but the exact cost will vary depending on your location. You can also opt to pickup your medication at a nearby branch instead of having it delivered to your home.

Payment can be made through cash-on-delivery, as well as through GCash payments.

    Southstar Drug

Another option for medicine delivery in the Philippines is through Southstar Drug. You can order any medicine you need on their website, or place an order through their hotline: 0943- 128-8153 (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

Their standard delivery fee is PHP99 for Metro Manila and Rizal, and PHP150 for the rest of the country. Delivery time can take 3-5 days for Metro Manila and Rizal, and 7 to 14 days for other locations. They also offer same-day delivery for PHP150.

The delivery fee is waived for orders of PHP1,500 and above for Metro Manila and Rizal, and PHP5,000 for the rest of the country.

Payment can be done through COD, GCash, bank deposit, or through a credit card online.

    GetMeds

GetMeds is another website that provides medicine delivery in Philippines. One of their special services is a subscription service wherein they will send you your prescriptions monthly, eliminating the need to order it every month.

You can place an order either through their website, or through their app. Payments can be made through COD, online banking, or through a credit card.

Delivery usually takes less than 48 hours once the payment has been confirmed. They also deliver nationwide.

    MedExpress

MedExpress is one of the more popular services for medicine delivery in Philippines. They have a minimum order of PHP250, and a minimum delivery fee of PHP100, which can vary depending on your location.

Payment is possible through cash, as well as through a credit card upon delivery. You can order either through their website, or the following channels:

Payment is possible through COD, bank transfer, or a credit card. Expect delivery within the next day.

You can order your medicine from MedGrocer through their website.

    Mercury Drug

Mercury Drug is a name that’s familiar to most Filipinos. While they do have numerous branches nationwide, they also offer a delivery service within Metro Manila for added convenience. For other locations, you can avail of their pickup service at the branch nearest you.

Their delivery service is 24/7, though only orders made from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. are eligible for same-day delivery. Orders done beyond that are delivered the next day. The delivery fee is just PHP100, but they charge extra for orders between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Payment methods include GCash, credit or debit card, or PayMaya.

You can order through their website, or simply call the branch nearest you.

    Watsons

Watsons has quickly become one of the largest drugstores in the country, and also offer a service for medicine delivery in the Philippines.

The delivery fee varies depending on your location, but it is free for orders of PHP2,000 and above. Their delivery takes 2-7 working days for Metro Manila orders, and 3-9 working days for other locations.

Payment is possible through COD, credit card, or e-vouchers.
