What is Albothyl® used for?

Albothyl® is commonly used for local treatment of cervicovaginal inflammation or infections and tissue damage.

How should I take Albothyl®?

Albothyl® is recommended to use in the evening. Firstly, the suppository is moistened with water and introduced deep into the vagina, preferably in the supine position. The additional use of a sanitary towel to avoid soiling of clothing and bedding.

Also, the doctor recommends that the duration of use depends on the nature and severity of the condition.

How do I store Albothyl®?

Albothyl® is best stored in the refrigerator as warm temperatures may cause it to melt and soften. To prevent drug damage, do not freeze. There may be different brands of Albothyl® that may have different storage needs. It is important to always check the product package for instructions on storage, or ask your pharmacist. For safety, you should keep all medicines away from children and pets.

If you miss a dose of Albothyl®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
