What is Albothyl® used for?
Albothyl® is commonly used for local treatment of cervicovaginal inflammation or infections and tissue damage.
How should I take Albothyl®?
Albothyl® is recommended to use in the evening. Firstly, the suppository is moistened with water and introduced deep into the vagina, preferably in the supine position. The additional use of a sanitary towel to avoid soiling of clothing and bedding.
Also, the doctor recommends that the duration of use depends on the nature and severity of the condition.
How do I store Albothyl®?
Albothyl® is best stored in the refrigerator as warm temperatures may cause it to melt and soften. To prevent drug damage, do not freeze. There may be different brands of Albothyl® that may have different storage needs. It is important to always check the product package for instructions on storage, or ask your pharmacist.
