It was an offshoot of the sudden closure of the hospital they were all working with, and in their desire for keeping up of their patients needs, they pooled their meager resources and thus Digos Doctors’ Hospital was born in an existing building which they rented along Rizal Avenue in Digos City. It was initially accredited as a 50 bed secondary health care facility under a memorandum of agreement that it shall build it’s envisioned physical plant in 5 years time. It didn’t take that long and Digos Doctors’ moved to it’s final home to where it’s now standing tall and proud in November 1995.
