371 Hospital/Clinic

Section 1 of City Ordinance No. 1508, approved in Resolution No. 1767 in March 21, 1994 mandates that: “The Cebu City Government shall maintain and operate a non-profit general hospital to be henceforth known as “Cebu City Medical Center” for the primary purpose of PROVIDING adequate medical care to the underprivileged sector of the City’s population, a training facility for the students of all duly DECS-accredited Medical and Para-Medical schools in Cebu City and to undertake its own training program. It shall endeavor to maintain major services in the areas of specialization that the Board may decide upon.

The dream of having a medical center in Cebu was materialized on August 20, 1972 with formal inauguration of Cebu Doctors University Hospital.

Saint Anthony Mother and Child Hospital (SAMCH) is a Specialty Hospital created under RA 7830. It started as an extension of Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

Centralle Medical Diagnostics & Polyclinic is the first and only free standing tertiary private laboratory in Caloocan. It is located at Ground Floor, First AMIJI Mansion, 6th Avenue corner M. H. del Pilar Street, Caloocan City. It occupies 125 square meters of the ground floor for the laboratory facilities, while the polyclinic is located at the Mezzanine level occupying 500 square meters.
