What is Tivortin® Aspartate used for?

L-arginine is an essential amino acid that plays an important role in the urea cycle. It allows for the metabolism and clearance of ammonia from the body.

L-arginine is used as an add-on to existing therapy to treat a variety of cardiovascular (heart and blood vessels), respiratory (lungs), hepatic (liver), thyroid, and immune-related conditions.

It has antioxidant, detoxifying, and membrane-stabilizing properties. It also improves blood flow by donating nitric oxide (a vasodilator) and preventing the formation of atherosclerotic plaques and platelet adhesion.

How should I take Tivortin® Aspartate?

As an oral solution, L-arginine should be taken by mouth, undiluted, and with meals. Use a medical-grade measuring cup or spoon to measure the dose accurately. Do not use a typical household spoon to measure a dose.
